bashful much

Since people were talking about people mispronouncing names of movies I had a guy the other day when I was on box office say "Two tickets to 'Fun With... People'." I looked at him and said "Dick!... and Jane?" he turned red and said yea.

Also we still have the movie "Walk the Line" and more than half of the tickets I have sold for the movie the people have asked to see "I Walk The Line". I can see how people can mispronounce or mess up words, but adding a whole new word to the title when it is clearly not there is beyond me.

9 times out of 10, I would agree with you on the name thing (like the Dick and Jane stuff).

but the song was called I Walk the Line so I give them this one . . .

still, they all suck.

Same thing happens at my theater.. the old people are singing the song.

Oh yes and I've had, "Fun with Dick and Harry"... that was classic. =)

Oh, I had heaps.

From "In Your Shoes" to "Hong Kong" (King Kong) to every single combinations of the letters N-A-R-N-I-A.

I got Hong Kong for King Kong the other day, too! And also Chronicles of Hernia. I kid you not. Syriana has become many different things - is it that hard to pronounce? I remember The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava girl being a tough one for people, but I can't remember any funny ones.
